ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

Well, i personally believe that learn english  is very important to everybody, not only to have more oportunities in many jobs, i believe that english really facilitates many things, english help you to comunicate in a better way with people of other cultures, english help to understand inexplicable things, apart knowledgement is never unnecessary.

if you ask me about my experience learning english at the university i can say that this experience has been very important to me, in this subject i have learned many things that it have helped to me in various areas. Write blogs have helped me to improve my writing, facilitate my way of expressing myself, know more about my classmates, know different realities and different pleasures. Also in english class we talk with our classmates and between us we learn in a easy way, that's is very nice.

As to the aspects of my english i need to improved i think that vocabulary is the most important aspect, i can read, understand and talk many things but i consider that my vocabulary is very limited.

Outside the english class i use english to read, see movies and series in english, to understand the letters of my favorites songs and others, i believe with the time, know english is something that you incorporate in you life in a very strange way.

To finally i want to say that my experience in english at this university has been very nice, i hope keep learning and improve my vocabulary because i think that is my achilles heel

 

 

Changes to my study programme

Think about the changes in the study programs is a little bit frustrating, first of all, the changes have been awesome but even with all the changes we don´t have all that we need yet. Personally I believe that my career could have more things and knowledgement to give us the necessary skills to understand and apply of better way the chemistry.

One thing the study program of chemistry could change is the motivation for investigation, if we thinking about it, our programme study don´t have a big plan for motivate the investigation in the area, I think that we only learn but we don’t have the time for develop the logical thinking in challenging situations, maybe in the future we can investigate be students and that will mean an important advance for science. Other thing that I could change my study program is the evaluation way, I like that the university give us many knowledge, but think that could be better for us be evaluate I of a way that don´t generate anxiety in the students, I believe in study for love to art, so I believe in a world with happy students giving a test with many content. Other think that could make a big difference is improve the propagation of the chemistry career, I think that everybody can contribute to the knowledge, for that a program that considerate the option of give science to everybody can create big important things

As to the infrastructure and technology, I would like have a big library with a better system, I don’t like be limited to only ask for a book and can´t look at them all, on the other hand I would like that the faculty had more spaces for the students, and more places to eat a big varieties of food, also I think that is very important have special infrastructure to disabled people, the science should not have limits. If I start to dream, I also believe that in the future, the student can access to application with all material of all subjects, I think it would improve learning and would facilitate things to teachers and students 

My favourite TV series

Personally I’m not a really fan of occupy my free time watching TV, because I think it´s a little bit boring but, not long ago I discovered a very cool series called “BoJack horseman”. I personally believe it series expresses very well many types of feelings and I think it is interesting.

Well, I´m going to talk about a little bit of what is this series. BoJack Horseman is an American adult animated comedy-drama series that takes place mostly in Hollywood, in an alternate world where humans and tailless anthropomorphic animals live side by side. BoJack Horseman, the washed-up star of the 1990s sitcom horsin' around, plans his big return to celebrity relevance with a tell-all autobiography that he dictates to his ghostwriter Diane Nguyen. BoJack also has to contend with the demands of his agent and on-again-off-again girlfriend Princess Carolyn, the misguided antics of his freeloading roommate Todd Chavez, and his friend and rival Mr. Peanutbutter. All is a chaos, and it give the emotion to it.

I´m not believe that I’m a big fan of BoJack, I think fan is a big word, but maybe in a near future I could be it.

Series has not a big importance in my life, is not part of my hobbies, is not a conversation topic with my friends… Series does not mean nothing to me,but maybe is only because I don´t dedicate more time to it, who knows?

Postgraduate courses I would consider in the future 

Well, in the first time if I start to think in the future I really don’t have a clear idea of what postgraduate courses I would to consider, but if in this moment i had to choose one course I would choose a Ph. D. in chemistry, the reasons of this choice is very simple, I really love it, I think it is very interesting, wonderful, it allows me to learn about many areas, like chemistry physical, analytical, organic, and others and that is what I want to learn, so much chemistry. 

If I had to choose where I want to study I would choose study in Chile at the university of Chile and for a few of time I want to study at Spain at the university of Barcelona, the reasons of this choice is because I want to do many things in my country but, I also want to learn and know about others scientific cultures. 

The ideal to me is to do a part time course, because I also want to work doing classes at the university and I want to have a little time for me. 

Thinking about the future is a little chaotic to me, I believe that I can manage my actual life and start to plan the future is weird, but I also think that is necessary and even funny

The jobs of my dreams

If I have to say in this moment the job of my dream I would say that I want to work investigating about forensic chemistry and the relationship between drugs and the impact of use it in the normal functioning of the brain, teach analytical chemistry at the university, and in my free time give free class of chemistry and math to persons who would like learn and don’t have money to pay to personal teachers.

I imagine it very exhausting but rewarding and it motivate to me because I like be exhaust for this type of reasons, I imagine that I will a busy life but I think that I will be happy and is all that I need it.

This three jobs are outdoors, I don’t really imagine work in my house or some similar because I prefer use my house to do nothing and dedicate time for me.

If you ask to me if I would like travel in my job, the answer is yes and not, because I want to teach chemistry in my country but I would like to travel to investigate about forensic chemistry, drugs and it impact in the brain because I believe that in other countries I can complement my knowledge and if you ask me for the salary, i would say that salary is not so important to me, I only would like to have the necessary things to live and that money does not limit me to do anything.

In this moment I study chemistry and I would like to start to do research units and assistant-ships because I want to know better this kind of job.

To generalize the idea, I want to learn too much chemistry, share my knowledge and apply what I learn in investigation,

CATALYST

Well, in this text I will talk about catalyst, i choose this topic because I think is very important in the area of chemistry and in general is important in life.

First, what is a catalyst? Catalysts accelerate a chemical reaction without interfering with the finished product by helping the reactants to meet much more quickly, they are more effective when are small, this increase my interest in this topic because that imply so much investigation about it and that make me think in all the possibilities that we don’t know, only imagine the active sites of a catalyst increase or are more readily available in nanoscale structures, causing chemical reactions to speed up, that is amazing!

I learned about catalyst when I start to investigate about chemistry, first in some videos or different papers and later in my career.

The importance of catalyst in my career is in chemistry, for different reasons we often need catalysts to perform reactions at appreciable speeds, is not only about the time, chemistry imply many simultaneous reactions and we need to have more control about the time of the reactions.

In human welfare the impact of catalysis are very important, many people don’t know the existence of catalyst but it work in the fundamental aspects required for life, for example in energy, food and water. 

If I have to talk about the advantages or disadvantages of the catalyst I would say that the most important advantage of catalyst to me is the reduction of energy, time of reaction and that you can use many times. On the other hand, the disadvantage more important from my own perspective is catalyst is expensive

Little Sofia

I love dogs, really, I believe dogs are the best pets in this world, they are so lovely and really make me happy, they know how make you have a good time, and I think that they can feel when you are bad and can help to you

My pet is Sofia, it’s a beautiful puppy, so funny, so emphatic and a very crazy dog. She come to my home in January of this year, she was abandoned in a street near from my house and we adopted her, first she was so nervous in the new house, but with the passage of time she start to be very happy with us. The things that Sofia love to do is run in the house, give love, make friends, play with children, lick the face and she loves bite clothes and shoes.

If somebody ask to me why Sofia is special to me i have to say that she is special because she arrive to my house in a bad moment of my life and she start to give me so much love, many cute experiences, she can make me smile with many things and I love it! I really feel that she’s my daughter, she taught to me what love is.

The best holidays in my life!!!

Holidays to me are the best thing in life, you can enjoy your free time as you like, and you can do everything!

Personally I consider that the best thing in life is keep good memories of the persons, for that all my holidays are amazing to me, wherever I have been, because I can do my favourites activities in many places with my family or my friends, but if I have to choose one of all my holidays I would choose when some time ago I was literally all summer with my friends, I was to many places and do many funny things with they like go to some concerts of local bands, to camp, we was go to the beach, we visit some lakes and we enjoy many different food and beverages of the different cities that we visit.

I have strong feelings for that days because I met incredible people that now is very important to me, I really like met persons that give me good moments and that summer all of people that I met actually is special to me and keep giving me good moments. If I have to choose what to do in every holidays for the rest of my life, I would choose enjoy with my friends, I really don’t care where, I want to do things with they because I never seen they so only in holidays I can stay with they and enjoy my favourites things with my favourites persons.

A country I would like to visit

Personally, I would like to visit Spain, specifically, Barcelona city.

 I’ve never been to in this country but I think that is the perfect place to study and enjoy many things it has a history among the oldest in Europe, the variety of artistic treasures, the Romanesque churches and the great names in modern art and architecture , Dali, Gaudi, Miro, Picasso and others. All this things make me wish visit this city.

About Barcelona I don’t know much, but I know that apart the beauty of this city, it have great monuments with a very interest history. And the most important, to me, is that Barcelona have great forensics sciences centers (the best to me is the universitat de Barcelona) and if I had the opportunity to visit this place i would like visit this centers or even study forensic chemistry there, because personally I think is the best option between the countries with Spanish languages and I believe it have the equipment and the knowledge necessary to  develop various techniques
